The challenge
Thirteen years of elite work, hidden behind an invisible brand
Construction Technology Studio had been doing exceptional work since 2012 — BIM coordination on Apple Park, 3D laser scanning for the Golden 1 Center, underground utility modeling for Meta's Frank Gehry campus. Projects at a scale and precision most firms never touch.
But the brand didn't reflect any of it. The visual identity and company presence hadn't kept pace with the quality of the work or the ambition of where the company was going. The opportunity was clear: build a brand that matches what CTS actually does.

The approach

CTS's culture is direct, anti-corporate, and deeply rooted in the trades. The brand had to honor that — not smooth it over. The positioning leans into what makes CTS genuinely different: bootstrapped, boots-on-ground, and uninterested in the politics that slow down the rest of the industry.
The visual system was built to work across construction documents, digital platforms, and the kind of high-stakes client environments where credibility is everything. Every decision was made to surface what CTS had earned through thirteen years of exceptional work.
