Sidekick Health Rebrand

Sidekick Health is a leading health technology company that specializes in digital therapeutics and wellness programs. It leverages gamification, behavioral economics, and artificial intelligence to create personalized health interventions. Sidekick’s solutions aim to improve patient outcomes and engagement by making health management more interactive and accessible. Their platform supports users in managing chronic conditions, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes, bridging the gap between traditional healthcare and modern technology to empower individuals in their health and wellness journeys.

In 2018, my journey with Sidekick Health began, stepping into a crucial role as the company’s eighth employee at a time when the health tech startup was navigating a significant transition. With the departure of its original designer, Sidekick Health was in dire need of a design revamp, encompassing everything from branding and product design to advertising and investor presentations. Initially a small, emerging entity in the health tech landscape, my tenure over the last six years has been pivotal in steering Sidekick Health from its startup phase to a flourishing scale-up. I took the helm of establishing and nurturing the company’s design department from the ground up, contributing to our evolution into a company that employs just shy of 300 people and landing major contracts with pharmaceutical giants such as Lilly, Pfizer, and Merck, and securing a partnership with Elevance Health, one of the largest health insurance providers in the U.S.

Our ascent to becoming a leading brand in digital therapeutics is a source of immense pride. Sidekick Health is now recognized for offering the world’s most prescribed digital therapeutic program, zanadio, supporting individuals living with obesity. This achievement is underscored by over 65,000 activated prescriptions from nearly 12,000 doctors. Our collaborations extend to several of the world’s foremost healthcare and insurance companies, marking Sidekick Health as a distinguished name in health tech, committed to enhancing patient care and outcomes through innovative digital solutions.
